Jet2 Adds More Weekend Flights to Rhodes and Madeira after Strong Demand

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added additional capacity to Rhodes and Madeira following strong demand for the two islands.

Jet2 ‘s announcement comes just a week after the company revealed it was stepping up services to both destinations. Due to strong interest over the past week, additional flights have now been added- all of the additional flights are weekend services.

Ten additional services have been added to the Rhodes programme, with extra Saturday services departing from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted. Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said;

“After adding capacity to Rhodes and Madeira just last week, we have continued to experience strong demand to both fantastic destinations. As always, we respond quickly to what holidaymakers are telling us, which is why we are delighted to be adding even more flights today, giving customers added choice and flexibility.”

He added: “The strong desire to escape the gloom, combined with great value and our award-winning customer service, is the perfect mix for customers who want enjoy a lovely holiday in the sunshine and we look forward to taking them away.”

Jet2 recently cancelled all flights to Spain’s Canary Islands after coronavirus cases soared.
