The Armed Forces of Spain are looking to recruit 3,500 new candidates in an Army call-up, launched by the Ministry of Defence and its registration period is now open until Monday, September 14.

This call-up, which was postponed in June due to the Covid-19 pandemic, explains in detail the type of work and the environments where it is carried out. With 2,375 places for the Army, 525 for the Navy and 600 for the Air Force. The initial duration of these employment contracts range from 24 to 36 months, to qualify for the positions, certain requirements must be met: be of legal age, possess the necessary psychophysical aptitude and possess the academic degrees required for each position.

The selection of personnel will be done in two phases. Initially, there will be a competition-opposition, where the merits contributed by the candidates will be evaluated; and then a series of medical, physical and psychological tests to guarantee that those chosen are fully empowered both mentally and physically for the work they must go on to carry out.
