Shelter success in Palma

Shelter success

Yachting Gives Back helping keep community spirit alive

YACHTING gives back, has yet again come to the rescue by working with the community to furnish a new shelter.

Impressively they have secured donations of nine mattresses, eight bedside tables, four armchairs, a dining table and eight chairs, and an incredible €500 donation from yacht engineer Dave Shereda, in honour of his mother’s 80th birthday.
More donations included, much-needed kitchen and household equipment, bags and suitcases of children and adult clothes and finally, another batch of delicious pre-cooked meals for the Tardor soup kitchen each labelled with the words ‘Con Amor’ to be handed out to struggling Palma families.
Such lovely gestures from the community during what is a difficult time for so many.
The YGB container is open for donations Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 09.30am-10.30am inside STP shipyard.
Or message Nick to arrange a pickup on 619 117 937.
