Recently the band made headlines as it gave a concert to 5000 people at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Saturday, March 27. The concert was a test to see how coronavirus restrictions could work in order to enable concerts take place in the future.
Fans had to present a negative coronavirus test in order to gain entry to the gig and had to wear masks at all times. Social distancing during the concert so was not required though. Although less than a week after the trial project aimed at showing how public concerts can be safe places, one of the people attending the concert unfortunately tested positive for the potentially deadly coronavirus.
According to the organisers, the person in question attended a dinner party the day before the concert and tested negative for Covid on the morning of the event. Rigorous safety measures were implemented for the massive concert which included a requirement to present a negative test on the day of the concert, and all attendees had to be monitored for fifteen days afterwards.
