US Telecom providers and all Facebook platforms down in major incident

Major incident underway.

A RAILWAY station in Lyon has had to be evacuated after a woman threatened to explode a package she was holding.

French police had to act fast to isolate the woman who, according to local media reports, was shouting “Allah-u-Akbar” (“God is great”) in the Arabic language.

The incident at Lyon’s main station Part-Dieu, which was totally evacuated, comes just six days after high school teacher Samuel Party was murdered by an Islamist terrorist.

No details have been released yet regarding the woman who threatened to explode the package, but police were said to be interrogating one person in relation to the planned attack.

Thankfully, it appears that no-one was hurt and it was only the rail traffic that was disrupted.

We will update you as more information becomes available.
