RINCON de la Victoria Town Hall continues with its commitment to LED Technology, and this time, with the installation of 1,055 lights in the town. As explained by the Councillor for Operational Services, José María Gómez, “the work began last Friday (July 10) and the distribution will be carried out in a total of 80 streets in the town. The objective is to achieve improved energy efficiency, with savings 50 per cent energy, and the reduction of gas emissions into the atmosphere.” The works, which consist of replacing luminaires with high-pressure sodium vapour lamps for others with LED technology and will be carried out over a month and have an investment of €184,730.50 financed by the company awarded the service, UTE Endesa Ingeniería SLU-Enel Sole, SRL In recent months, the winning bidder has made improvements to the lighting installation on the north side of the Avenida del Mediterráneo in Rincón de la Victoria in order to increase the light level in one of the locations with the highest volume of traffic.
