LAW ENFORCERS in Spain have shown they have a softer side too, as well as dealing with crime and security on a daily basis.
Today, on their @guardiacivil Twitter account, that has more than 1,212,559 followers, they offered useful advice to owners of felines.
In among all crime reports and missing people tweets they took time to remind cat owners that coffee, salt, sugar and onion can poison their pets or even cause death.
The force numbers 92,692 officers across 2,691 barracks and includes a Seprona division that specifically deals with environmental protection and wildlife issues.
