Bake Off Fans Left Sobbing at Surprise Exit from The Tent

THIS week saw Bake Off fans left sobbing at the surprise exit of Lottie from the show. Many fans were stunned as last weeks Star Baker Lottie was axed.

Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas revealed the shocking news that Lottie would have to leave the tent. Although fans of the show had been expecting Laura to be the unlucky one this week. Twitter was awash with support for Lottie, with one fan sobbing “I was CONVINCED Lottie would win @BritishBakeOff this year. I am gutted.” And another Tweeting “We are going to miss you Lottie!”

This week saw Hermine named Star Baker and had the contestants working on technical creations like the Ice Cream cake that fellow baker Laura struggled with. Other delights included custard doughnuts and a quiche.

Lottie never expected to last so long in the Tent and explain that she had “literally had packed two outfits, and here I am in Week Seven wearing everyone else’s clothes”.  Laura from West Sussex was seen to hug her fellow bakers before leaving and later stated that “Well I think the Curse of the Star Baker truly struck – it really did! I had run out of oomph by that stage, and I knew it was my time to go”.
