Giving4Giving gave throughout October

GARY JAMES and Giving4Giving made three more €1,000 donations in October
The first was to the local branch of the AECC association, which concentrates entirely on cancer patients and their families in Alicante province.  Gary’s cash was gratefully accepted by Pamela Dawson Tasker, president of the Alfaz AECC.
“Then Dino from We Love Albir told us that the Men’s Shelter in Gandia were struggling to meet basic electricity, water and other bills so we donated another €1,000 to help them,” Gary said.
Giving4Giving’s final October donation was in memory of Claire Goodman, a resident of Finestrat who lost her battle with cancer last week.
Claire was a big supporter of the animal charity For the Love of Dogs and Cats run by Linda Jean, so Gary spoke spoke to Linda and learnt that her charity is also struggling and made another donation to help with the animals’ food and supplies.
“We have now donated €178,000 euros to local charities and will continue our good work in November and beyond,” Gary said.
