THREE Consecutive Earthquakes in Alaska have sparked tsunami fears- all three quakes were registered only minutes apart from each other.
The first tremor, a magnitude 1 earthquake, hit only 18 kilometres east-southeast of Denali National Park. The second quake, a more powerful magnitude 5.2 was pinpointed 98 kilometres northeast of Atka.
This was then followed by a magnitude 5.4 earthquake, located 124 kilometres between north and northeast of Atka. An hour later, after the first earthquake was registered, reports emerged of a magnitude 1.8 earthquake hitting just 13 kilometres north of Nanwalek.
