SEPTEMBER MEAL: Members of the Wine and Dine group Photo credit: U3A Marina Baixa
FOLLOWING a positive response from members, the U3A Marina Baixa decided to go ahead and meet next Monday, September 28. The meeting will be held at 11am in their old venue of the Casa de Cultura in Alfaz, with a temperature check and sanitiser on arrival and a record kept of everyone in attendance. Masks will be required at all times when members are not seated and seats in the Auditorium are to be designated. There will be a one-way system for entering and leaving the building. The U3A Marina Baixa is working closely with Alfaz town hall and if the situation changes and it is considered unsafe to meet, members will be informed. Readers unfamiliar with the association who would like to join are assured of a very warm welcome. To learn more about the U3A Marina Baix, visit the www.u3amarinabaixa.com website or their Facebook page. Those without internet access should contact the Secretary, Joan Flint (966 808 591 or 663 637 167).
