Johnny Depp arrives in San Sebastián to support his work and leave the trial behind

HOLLYWOOD superstar turned rock god, Johnny Depp has arrived in Spain this weekend as a guest at the 2020 San Sebastián International Film Festival.

In a worn camel-coloured leather jacket, a ‘Ramones’ t-shirt, jeans, a lopsided cap and sunglasses, Depp oozed rock-n-roll chic as he set foot in the resort town in the Bay of Biscay on Saturday, September 19.

The presence of the Hollywood actor was one of the most anticipated at the famous film festival

Today, Sunday, September 20, Depp, wearing the same outfit with which he was seen the night before, he presented the documentary feature film that he has produced under the title Crock of Gold: A few rounds with Shane MacGowan, which deals with the poet and frontman of the band ‘The Pogues’, who is also a great friend of his.
In true rock spirit, Johnny Depp was half an hour late for the performance.

The documentary features scenes and conversations between the actor and Shane MacGowan, two politically incorrect personalities, which is sure to be wholly amusing.

However, Johnny Depp’s name has not necessarily be linked to his work recently, but for having starred in one of the most controversial trials in recent years.

In July, the actor started a judicial crusade against the newspaper ‘The Sun’ and his ex Amber Heard, who accused him of abusing her. Depp and his legal team only aspired to clear his name, which led to surprising and sometimes outrageous details of the relationship with Heard being exposed.

Details of his drug use since he was 14 years old, a story that his ex defecated on the marriage bed to humiliate him, insults, threats and an obscene amount of money spent on wine.

Now, Depp tries to move forward, turn the page and focus back on his work and this project, in the hope that his work will be the headline grabber instead of his private life.

You failed to mention that Depp also plays guitar and sings for one of the most popular super-bands in the World, The Hollywood Vampires, who regularly sold out stadiums worldwide before the pandemic. His fellow band members include Alice Cooper (vocals) and Joe Perry (Aerosmith’s lead guitarist). Depp, who arrived in LA as a musician before he began acting, is very happy in this role despite what the press would lead you to believe with fake reports of weight loss, court troubles, etc.
Hollywood Vampires is an American rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry to honor the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. The band name derives from The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 1970s which included but was not limited to: John Lennon and Ringo Starr of The Beatles & Keith Moon of The Who…- wikipedia
