Reunited and it feels so good: Gronkowski and Brady back together again

The successful pairing of Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady will be hoping to replicate their trophy winning partnership for a new club as training gets underway ahead of the new NFL season.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS have made two important acquisitions in the NFL off-season signing Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady as they hope the pair can reignite their Super Bowl chances this year.

Gronkowski, who announced his retirement from the sport in March 2019, spoke about teaming up with Brady again, “It feels good to be back doing what I love, catching passes from Tom, making blocks for the running back, just doing what I do.”

The powerful American footballer, who has recently been pushing people around inside a WWE wrestling ring, continued, “At the time I just needed a break from football. I love the game, I love watching the game, but I just needed a break. I’d been playing football and all sports for my whole life so I just needed a little rest.”

He won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and earned five Pro Bowl selections during a nine-year career with the club.

Tom Brady, who ended a 20-year career at the Patriots, will enjoy linking back up with “The Gronk”.

Gronkowski and Brady connected for 7,786 yards and 78 touchdowns in their time together in Foxborough, putting them fifth on the list of most prolific touchdown combinations in NFL history.

Brady has won the Super Bowl six times and Tampa Bay will be hoping that his reunion with Gronkowski will lead them to the pay-offs for the first time since 2007.
