THE Department of the Environment of the Algarrobo Town Hall, in collaboration with the environmental consultant Quesada & Pastor Consultores, will launch during the months of July and August a series of Environmental Education sessions on the care of our coastline and marine species.

On July 24, on the beach of Mezquitilla, an environmental education and fisheries awareness activity will take place.
The objective of this conference is to raise awareness among residents who visit in these summer months about the problem of the commercialisation of young fish, the care of the coastline and the marine environment, as well as making known the importance of correct labelling of fishery products and encourage the consumption of fresh fish.
The Information Tent will be located on the Paseo Marítimo in the morning, from 10am to 2pm; In this tent visitors will be informed about all these aspects, there will be games for the little ones and gifts will be given to all those visitors who participate in the activities that the environmental monitors will propose.
On the other hand,  on August 14 and 21, on the beach of Algarrobo Costa and Mezquitilla respectively, an environmental education and recycling activity will be carried out.
The Algarrobo Town Hall is firmly committed to the need to inform the population about the care of our beaches and the marine environment, so residents are encouraged to participate in this activity, always keeping all hygienic measures.
