Owners of Instagram to Take Action Against Spanish Firm Which Allegedly Manipulated Algorithms

FACEBOOK has announced that it has not only banned the Madrid-based MGP25 Cyberint Services for placing likes on Instagram accounts for profit but will also be taking action against the company.

It believes that the company created a special computer tool to generate likes in order to boost interest in the clients it represented.

A spokesperson for Facebook said “The defendant’s service was designed to evade Instagram’s restrictions against fake engagement by mimicking the Instagram official app in the way that it connected to our systems.”
