Yesterday, a peculiar news story broke which involved the arrest of a British national in Costa del Sol’s Estepona in relation to a crime of reckless manslaughter.

NOW there is updated information about the murder mystery, which involved the death of a wild British neighbour in Estepona’s El Paraiso Urbanisation.

A 65-year-old man was arrested for the reckless manslaughter of his British neighbour who died on his front doorstep on Monday night.

However, now that the Institute of Legal Medicine in Malaga has the results of the post-mortem examination, they can confirm that the 35-year-old Brit did not die from the injury to his head but instead from the number of illegal narcotics he had consumed.

Therefore, his neighbour, who was originally arrested under the impression that he accidentally killed the young Brit as he tried to enter his home by pulling his arm back and causing a blow to his head, has now been released and freed of any charges.
