Spain’s King Beckons Tourists to Spain and Guarantees the Country is a “Safe and High Quality” Destination

King Felipe VI of Spain beckoned tourists to return to Spain and guaranteed that the country is a “safe and high quality” destination, as the nation has suffered reputational damage due to the coronavirus crisis.

The monarch has ensured that “Spain is a safe and quality tourist destination… with a great diversity of attractions” and he hopes that international tourists will return shortly to enjoy all that the nation has to offer.

Spain has “demonstrated world leadership in development policies” and the King assures that they will continue doing so, to prove that Spain is capable of handling themselves and recovering from such a significant crisis.

The King also sent out a message “full of encouragement” to the hospitality sector in Spain, as he holds great confidence in the sector’s ability to recover from the heavy blow dealt by the pandemic.

Although the country will only receive a fraction of visitors in comparison to last year, the nation already has an astounding amount of interest and reservations from abroad which has brought a glimmer of hope to the business in Spain.
