DONATION: €1000 in supplies for the La Nucia and Alfaz food banks, credit: U3A Marina Baixa
THE U3A Marina Baja’s president Anthony Coles recently met representatives from the La Nucia and Alfaz food banks. Together they spent €500 on vital supplies for each bank which was made possible by the charity fundraising that U3A Marina Baixa members contribute to throughout the year. The committee meet this week with the necessary social distancing but admitted that it looked as though there would be no General Meeting for the foreseeable future. U3A meetings could recommence September and members will be kept informed through secretary Joan Flint’s emails and reports from the press officer.
