Spain’s Costa Del Sol police go beyond call of duty to provide for homeless during lockdown

“I just dropped a load of food for these guys, and as I was about to leave, the old bill turned up with food for them as well – what lovely guys," explained a EuroWeekly News reader.

Spain’s Costa Del Sol police are going beyond their duty of care for the public, and looking out for the vulnerable and homeless communities in the area during the country’s lockdown. As you can see from the picture above (sent in by a EuroWeekly News reader), the police were delivering bags of food and drink to a homeless community on the Costa Del Sol, while she was also on her rounds to supply vulnerable communities in and around Marbella with essential supplies.

“I just dropped a load of food for these guys, and as I was about to leave, the old bill turned up with food for them as well,” she told EuroWeekly News. “As you can see, this is a homeless community of old broken down caravans and cars. What really lovely fellas,” she added.
