A new role for Costa Blanca tractors

LOCAL farmers and growers have provided Teulada-Moraira town hall with three tractors for street cleaning and disinfection.
Municipally-owned TEUMO Servei,s which cleans Teulada-Moraira’s streets, has added high-pressure hosing down with water and disinfectant to the usual manual and mechanical sweeping.
This is carried out by two teams each morning and one at night throughout Teulada and Moraira.
Meanwhile, the three tractors operated by TEUMO staff, are helping to clean and disinfect roads and surfaces in urbanisations as well as the communal rubbish containers.
“We are in an exceptional situation and TEUMO has had to adapt to be able to offer Teulada-Moraira the best-possible and most indispensable services,” said TEUMO councillor Hector Morales.
