THE Weekend Beach Festival in Torre Del Mar returns for another year, running from July 1 to July 4 and expects to continue to break records with the number of visitors who will want to enjoy great music by the beach.
The latest news is that South African electro-rap-rave band Die Antwoord will make their only appearance in Andalucia at the Festival
They were formed in 2008 in Cape Town by Watkin Tudor Jones, popularly known as Ninja and Anri Du Toit known by fans as Yo-Landi Visser.
More international performers are being announced every few weeks and so far no less than 40 acts are already confirmed from all aspects of music.
There will be a gigantic dance floor that will be the Sunrise stage as a new addition of the festival and this will bring the sound of Ibiza to Torre del Mar.
The local council is completely in favour of the event which has not only added the name of Torre del Mar to the music scene, but generates significant amounts of revenue for local businesses as well as supplying jobs.
