THE Piedra Amarilla Walkers and Talkers group is holding a fun walk to raise funds for Mojacar Area Cancer Support (MACS).
The event is billed as an easy, level nine-kilometre walk from La Hoya to Cantoria, which is dog, wheelchair and buggy friendly, and open to all.
There will be a refreshment stop along the way.
The group asks everyone taking part to dress in pink, “the zanier the better”, dogs included.
There will be fun prizes for the best or worst dressed people and pooches. There will also be a raffle to win a whole host of cleaning products, all pink, and all donated by members of the group.
Entry is €3 per person, all of which goes to MACS.
The walk will take place on Thursday April 2, meeting at Lorena’s Bar, Piedra Amarilla, and setting off at 1pm. Raffle tickets are available from Lorena’s Bar.
