Harvey Weinstein after being convicted by a jury yesterday of two counts of sexual assault and rape to where he could face up to 25 years in a US jail has been admitted to a criminals hospital.
The jury of 7 men and five women found him guilty yesterday after many days of deliberation.
After the verdict was delivered officers had to assist him as he stumbled as they took him away, the convicted sex offender was on his way to the notorious Rikers Island jail to await sentencing on 11 March, but he was later taken to Bellevue, which has a hospital unit that provides medical care to prisoners.
It has led to many believe that he’s acting and he has all along the trial for an attempt of leniency.
