A betting pool in Rincón de la Victoria has been sealed off by the Junta de Andalucía for allowing access to minors. At the time of the police intervention, the Civil Guard found inside a total of 11 clients, nine of whom were under eighteen. Those responsible for the establishment face a fine between 10,000 and 300,000 euros. The Junta de Andalucía, through a Decree-law approved in December, agreed on a tightening of the sanctioning regime to prevent access to minors in gaming establishments and persons of the Registry of Access Control and Interdictions. In addition, the regional administration is working on the modification of the regulations that regulate betting pools. Among the measures studied, it is proposed to establish a minimum distance between these gaming rooms and educational centres.
