THE Centros de Participación Activa in Marbella are receiving informative talks on security by the National Police Corps with the objective that older people obtain first-hand information about theft, robbery or more frequent scams that they may be victims of, in addition to enhancing contact and direct communication with police officers.
The municipal delegate of Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, said that “this initiative, completely free, is part of the Town Council’s commitment to promoting activities aimed at spreading and promoting a culture of active ageing and ensuring the safety of our elderly”.
The next appointments will be at the Centro de Participación Activa in Los Paisajes on the 17th, at 9.30am, on February 24, at 10am, at Encarna Cantero’s and, finally, on March 2, at 10am, in the Plaza de Toros neighbourhood.
