THE Department for Youth of Fuengirola coordinated by Councillor José Manuel Martín will launch two new free 3D programming courses that will allow youngsters to learn more about this technique in a practical and fun way.

The courses will be divided into two sessions according to the age of the participants. “The first will be Tuesday, February 25, for those between the ages of 9 and 11. The second will be on Thursday 27 for those between 12 and 14 years old.”

Both training sessions have 13 spaces available and will run from 6pm to 7.30pm in the computer room of Edificio Colores in Los Boliches.

Martín stated that “the registration period will open on Monday, February 17 at 9am and those interested can sign up by sending an e-mail to youth@fuengirola.org including the personal data of those who wish to join the workshop.

Rafael Cereto, the teacher in charge of the classes pointed out that “The objective of this workshop is to introduce children to a topic such as 3D printing, which has lowered in price in recent years and is an increasingly accessible technology.”
