Spain’s Velez-Malaga City Council Incorporates A New Municipal Sports Activity Credit: Velez-Malaga City Hall

THE multi-purpose sports pavilion in Spain’s Velez-Malaga will be hosting, as of March, a new activity.

The sports hall which already offers a wide range of activities and includes an indoor swimming pool, has a total capacity for around 3,000 users per month.

The Councillor for Sports, J. Hipólito Gómez, has informed that from the start of March the sports pavilion will introduce Indoor Cycle classes (128 places). The new activity will “join the extensive program of activities that are already carried out in the multi-purpose sports hall such as Pilates, functional training, aero-step and toning, some of them also specific for Senior Citizens.”

Gómez explained that “high-end bicycles” will be made available to carry out this new activity.

The Indoor Cycle classes, which will start on March 1st, will last 50 minutes and will take place twice a week; available in two shifts, Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. The activity will start at 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning and at 19:00 and 20:00 in the evening.
