MORE than 100 people joined the first of this year’s Sendas Saludables (Healthy Paths) free programme of walks on the Costa Blanca. These began in Teulada with three routes of varying difficulty and distances where participants could walk, run or cycle. Participants were accompanied by a guide who pointed out and explained the landmarks and interesting places they were passing. Teulada-Moraira’s Sports councillor, Adrian Ruiz, thanked all those who had taken part in this first outing and especially German Durillo for his hard work in planning and giving shape to the walks. “With these routes, we can use sport to reveal some of the beauty spots in our municipality and part of our culture,” Ruiz said, who gave special thanks to Mario Font, his predecessor as sports councillor. “Font began this project and wanted to take part in the first Teulada walks as well as those that are planned for Moraira,” Ruiz explained.
