Less Almerians living elsewhere in Spain

THE number of Almerians living in other parts of Spain had dropped by some 30 per cent since 1998, according to the Andalucia Institute of Statistics and Cartography.

The most recent Andalucians Resident in the Rest of Spain report found there were just over 100,000 Almerians living in other provinces at the end of 2019, compared with more than 142,000 22 years ago.

Nearly 50,000 Almerians live in Cataluña, just over 11,500 are resident in Murcia and approximately 10,000 are in Madrid.
