A couple from Spain commissioned a neighbour with a criminal record for prior offences to damage their vehicles. They then reported the damage worth 5,000 euros.
A man and woman, both residents of Los Palacios in Seville, claim to have suffered damage to their respective cars which were parked on a transited, public road. Both cars were gashed and had graffiti marks all over the bodywork. The damages reported exceed 5,000 euros.
The Guardia Civil from Los Palacios and Villafranca begin to investigate and identified a person, who has a criminal record for prior offences, with a piece of paper on which two license plates numbers had been written out, numbers that coincided with those of the two damaged cars.
When questioned, the man confesses that a woman had offered him money, a total of 170 euros to complete the job of vandalising two cars.
Both three individuals were arrested, one for committing the crime and the other two for attempted fraud.
