A tragic death has taken place in Spain’s Mallorca as a man was killed after slicing open his neck with a chainsaw. As reported by the Guardia Civil, the man’s lifeless body was found by a local resident on his property in Calle Bernat in Santa Eugenia in the municipality of Santa Maria del Camí this afternoon (Tuesday, February 4). Immediately alerting the 112 emergency services hotline, officers promptly arrived at the scene where it is reported that the man had suffered a significant amount of blood loss from a gaping wound on his neck. It is also understood that the chainsaw was lying beside him. As Euro Weekly News understands, an investigation has now been launched by the police and investigators are not yet at this time treating the death as suspicious.
