London Terror Video: Waitress Ignores Police Evacuation So Customers Can Eat

A video online shows how a London waitress attempted to ignore an evacuation attempt by armed police during the recent terror attack. The woman can be heard asking for ‘half an hour.’ 

A video posted to Twitter from the front lines of the terror attack shows the moment an armed police officer entered a restaurant and informed everyone inside that they needed to evacuate. The customers appear to be shocked by the event and the waitress of the establishment doesn’t seem too pleased by the request, as shockingly she appears to shout back ‘give us half an hour.’

The police officer quickly informs the restaurant of the severity of the situation, saying ‘Madam, a terrorist had just been shot down there.’ Followed by ‘they’ve got a possible IED vest on them, which is a bomb.’ The waitress soon accepts the police officers request.

It is understood that the encounter took place at Life Cafe Restaurant in Streatham, South London. This was within close proximity of yesterday’s terror attack, which left three people injured and resulted in police shooting the terrorist dead.

Several other public videos have emerged online as the events unfolded and armed police units arrived at the terror scene.
