It’s all about the dogs on the Costa del Sol Spain

Pointer puppies looking for a new home Credit: Pawsawhile Dog Rescue

AFTER five years acting as volunteers at an animal shelter, Carl and Anita Hooper decided to start their own dog rescue/rehoming organisation and its known as Pawsawhile Dog Rescue.

Run entirely by volunteers it relies on donations from supporters as well as fund raising events and on St Valentine’s Day February 14 it will be hosting a special party from 2pm at, Darcie’s Bar, Benalmadena.

It promises to be a fun afternoon with a tombola, a Mr & Mrs (or any combination of couples) competition, fantastic silver jewellery on sale and live music.

Laura Elen is a Welsh classical singer who is particularly popular as she has performed at many venues on the Costa del Sol. She is well versed in all styles of music and will be helping the afternoon to be a succes.

There is a small entry fee and all profits made on the day will go straight to the charity.
