BAD RECEPTION: Ministry transmitter caused problems. Photo credit: Pixabay
PROBLEMS with television reception in some parts of central Teulada have been solved, the town hall announced. All of the residents who complained about bad reception following Storm Gloria are now able to watch television normally, a spokesman announced. Responding to enquiries from the town hall, Telefonica found the transmitter that was causing the problem belonged to the Ministry of the interior, which temporarily shut down the antenna while the fault was repaired. Viewers inside Teulada were warned earlier this week that minor but temporary interference was possible while tests were being carried out that could affect the signal. “We would ask anybody still experiencing problems with their television to contact a technician, as this will be due to their own aerial,” the town hall said.
