Almeria museum visitor numbers drop

VISITOR numbers to the Junta de Andalucia-managed museums and cultural locations in Almeria province were down by 61,995 in 2019 on the previous year. Only the Puerta de Andalucia archaeological site, the CAF Andalucia Photography Centre and Velez-Rubio castle registered small visitor number increases.

The biggest fall in visitors was for Almeria city’s La Alcazaba fortification, with 47,325 less last year at a total of 255,774.
