DRIVERS who were trying to reach Coin from Mijas during the worst of the recent bad weather found that the road was eventually closed to cars.

They were surprised however to discover that they weren’t the only users of the road as they came across a family of wild boar who had obviously decided that they didn’t like the weather and were heading towards the coast in the hope of a warmer climate and possibly a bite to eat.

The animals quite happily ignored the cars and carried on their journey, stopping from time to time to search for food.
