BREAKING: Suspected case of deadly coronavirus is RULED OUT in Spain’s Andalusia

SPAIN’S Andalusia is not under threat of the deadly coronavirus as a Chinese tourist who presented flu-like symptoms has tested negative for the disease.

Fears were at an all time high in the region this morning (January 26) as local newspapers reported that there was a suspected case in Grenada, putting residents on high alert that the virus had entered into Spain.

However, Euro Weekly News can confirm that the Centre for Coordination for Health Alerts and Emergencies of the Ministry of Health has ruled out that the man had coronavirus. The negative result was confirmed by the National Centre of Microbiology of Majadahonda in Madrid who analysed the man’s blood.

The man, who is from Wuhan in China, had been on holiday in Spain with 17 other people when he presented symptoms that included high fever. Fearing that he was infected, he admitted himself to the emergency department of San Cecilio de Granada Clinical Hospital this morning.

The remaining members of the group were kept in quarantine as a precautionary measure at their hotel, but have now been allowed to leave.
