Drug addict mother strangles her three children to death in Phoenix, Arizona

Woman murders her three children by suffocating them. While doing so she sang lullabies and laid them on a sofa pretending they were taking a nap.

The Phoenix Police Department, United States, has arrested a 22-year-old woman, Rachel Henry, for killing her three children. She asphyxiated them one-by-one whilst singing lullabies.

Henry had moved to Phoenix with her children a few months ago. Last Monday night the police received an anonymous phone call asking agents to investigate the house.

Once the police arrived at the house,  they encountered three suffocated children all placed on the sofa. The woman had put them there to make it appear like they were taking a nap.

According to local media reports, the woman was addicted to methamphetamine since her mother’s death. The children had previously been taken from their home by child-welfare authorities in Oklahoma related to the woman’s drug problem.

No motives had emerged and Henry was not under the influence of either drugs or alcohol at the time of the killings. Rachel Henry confessed that she had strangled her three children while singing lullabies to them.
