REPORTS are circulating that police in France have shot a man dead after he launched a frenzied knife attack in a Paris suburb today (January 3).
It is believed that the man stabbed multiple people at the Hautes-Bruyères State Park in Villejuif, just 4 miles south of the capital, whilst wearing an explosive vest.
Local media state that at least four people have been injured with one person believed to have been seriously hurt.
It is reported that responding officers chased the attacker out of the park after his stabbing attack where he was then shot nearby by armed police.
Police have also issued a warning to those living in the surrounding area to remain in their homes as an investigation continues. It is not known at this time whether the incident is being treated as terror-related.
