THE Guardia Civil have arrested a man in Valencia, Spain for the violent murder of his next door neighbour.
As reported by the police, the man had attended the emergency services in the early hours of Christmas Day with a stab wound to his eye. Suspicious that he may have been in a brawl, medical personnel called the police.
Upon questioning, the man revealed that he had been in a fight with his neighbour who had threatened his son. Officers then proceeded to the neighbour’s house to continue their enquiries and found the 47-year-old man lying in a pool of his own blood after being beaten to death.
According to the Guardia Civil, the man, who has been named as local Spanish resident José Manuel LL, was arrested and charged with murder. As Euro Weekly News understands, the man is an admitted alcoholic who has had frequent run-ins with his neighbours in the past and took revenge several hours after being stabbed in the eye.
