THE Festive Season fun continues in Mojacar with events all the way up to the Three Kings bank holiday.
Much of the entertainment emphasis is on the younger members of the family.
Mojacar Playa’s Parque Comercial is the venue for activities for children and an ice rink on Friday December 27 and Saturday December 28. There will also be a Christmas market on both days from 11am onwards and dance displays at 12 midday.
There is an opportunity to see top flamenco in the village on Saturday night with the ‘Gala Flamenca Navideña’ featuring dancers from Jerez and Granada performing at the multi-uses centre.
Once again the local authority is putting on free Cava and grapes from 11pm onwards on December 31 to see in the New Year under the Mojacar Pueblo parish church clock.
The following Saturday January 4 there will be a free performance of the children’s musical ‘Tiana y el Sapo’ (Tiana and the Toad) at 12 midday in the Parque Comercial.
The following evening is the moment all children look forward to: the Three Kings procession from Mojacar Pueblo’s Plaza Nueva to the multi-uses centre at 5pm, followed by the presentation of gifts to all the children registered as residents in the municipality.
On the Monday bank holiday there will be a Three Kings Mass with all the most popular Christmas songs at the parish church at 11.30am.
