The damage to the Ambulance demostrates the impact caused by the accident
The young girl is fighting for life in hospital after she was hit by an ambulance responding to a 999 call in Nottingham. Nottinghamshire Police were called to the report of the collision involving an ambulance and a pedestrian at 6.30pm on Sunday 22 December.
Police confirmed a girl, 10, was transferred to Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre for treatment where she remains in a critical condition.
Her family has asked for privacy.
Low Wood Road in Bulwell was closed overnight between its junctions with Hempshill Lane and Seller’s Wood Drive.
Images from the scene show the impact of the collision caused damage to the ambulance’s front window.
On Monday morning at around 6.30am, police confirmed the road had been reopened.
