THE DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare of Rincon de la Victoria has announced the holding of an informative day of games and scientific experiments for the whole family, which will be held on Saturday, December 21, coinciding with the National Day of Children with Cancer. The event, is part of the state program ‘Science for all’, promoted by the Scientific Foundation of the AECC, “With the aim of bringing science and research closer to the population and creating a scientific vocation among the youngest,” explains deputy mayor, Elena Aguilar, who expressed her commitment to “continue supporting the different initiatives proposed by the association, which exercises work fundamental for people with cancer and all their relatives”. The initiative will take place on the Avenida del Mediterráneo, next to the Tourist Office of Rincón de la Victoria, from 12 pm to 2 pm for free.
