Mallorca News Top Story: Special Christmas event for children with special needs in Mallorca

THE Mallorca Rotary Club hosted a wonderful Christmas Party at La Salle School in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, where more than 300 children with special needs were invited.
At the inspiring event, 16 prestigious chefs who are renowned in Mallorca prepared a delicious feast for the guests. This included Saloua Sfar, Head Chef of A Ma Maison and Calvià Rotary as well as Michelin star favourite Marc Fosh.
Acclaimed chefs Santi Taura and Bernabé Caravotta also cooked up a storm, with Adrián Quetglas and Andreu Genestra entrusted with the desserts.
There were also fascinating workshops for the children to enjoy, where the chefs led various master classes on how to cook traditional dishes and revealed the secrets behind running a successful restaurant.
More than 60 volunteers from the Rotary Club were at hand at the lunch, where they pulled out all the stops to create a memorable celebration for the children. In addition to gastronomy, music and performance completed the event alongisde fun-filled arts and crafts.
