Winners announced for Christmas Poster Contest in Almuñécar

THE winners of Almuñécar’s Christmas Poster Contest were announced this week, which saw submissions from almost a thousand schoolchildren across the municipality.
Hosted at the House of Brotherhood on Tuesday, December 10, the jury awarded 12 children for their fantastic work and dedication to the competition. The first prize winners included Ruiz Moreno and Rocío López Jerónimo from CEIP Río Verde and Laura Puerta from CEIP Virgen de la Antigua.
For those that would like to see this year’s fabulous array of entries, all of the drawings will be displayed next to the grand nativity scene, which is open to the public from 7pm to 9pm throughout the month.
