Unhappy TSB customers were left 'bricking it' Credit: Shutterstock
AN overnight error with its computer system has meant that thousands of customers of the TSB Bank (which was taken over by Spain’s Banco Sabadell) have been left without funds.
Salary payments, pensions and other transfers did not go into customer accounts as they should, leaving many in a difficult financial situation, unable to pay bills which were falling due.
The bank apologised and invited customers to keep a record of any financial losses that may have occurred so that compensation could be paid.
This follows a recent report criticising TSB for problems last year when it changed computer systems.
