Calpe girl escapes stalker’s rape attempt 

A YOUNG Calpe woman narrowly escaped rape after a man forced her to get into his car. 
Describing the attempt on a video that she uploaded on social media sites, the sobbing girl tried to explain her feelings as a victim of aggression. 
“I thought I understood the people that this sort of thing happens to, but no,” she admitted. 
“That was until today.  Today I’m afraid to go out alone.  I’m very scared,” she said, going on to explain that a boy had begun stalking her three days earlier. 
Hours before the alleged abuse, she had complained on the social media that a stalker was waiting outside her home and had followed her when she went out for a walk. 
On the last occasion, he managed to force her into his car where he tried to abuse her. 
Fortunately she was able to escape: “I got away, I don’t know how.  I have no idea how I did it,” she said in the video. 
Although she escaped rape, she did not get away unscathed, as in the video she reveals surgical tape on her buttock. 
“It’s not right that I should have this, that I’ve scratches on my face, that my jaw hurts, and have a bruise on my knee just because he felt like abusing me,” the girl said. 
She also urged other girls to report incidents like these and to tell their families: “Today it might be me, but tomorrow it could be you or somebody else.”
