UPDATES Uxbridge Stabbing: Teen Boy Has Died After Being Stabbed In The Chest

THE DOUBLE knife attack happened on Uxbridge High Street at 4.38pm this afternoon (Thursday)

The Met Police, along with the London Ambulance Service, attended and discovered a teenage boy had been stabbed in the chest.

He was taken to a West London hospital but was pronounced dead an hour later, at 5:25pm.

A second teenage boy was also stabbed in the same attack. He was stabbed in the ear and his injuries are thought to not be life-threatening.

DCI Noel McHugh is leading the murder investigation, he said: “This is a tragic loss of life. A young man with his whole life ahead of him has been fatally attacked.

“We are doing everything we can to find those involved. One male is currently in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.”

The man in question is a 17-year-old boy who has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a North-West London police station for questioning following the fatal stabbing.

The incident took place just 10 minutes after another stabbing in West London, where a teenage boy was stabbed in the leg.

Witnesses at the scene saw helicopters flying over the area with police and ambulance services in attendance.

This earlier incident happened in the very heart of Feltham near the station and next to the shopping centre.

The Met, responding to the latest stabbing in Uxbridge have issued a Section 60 order until 8.37am tomorrow (Friday), giving officers extra search powers.
