Drug dealers detained in Alicante city

POLICE investigations into drug sales and distribution in the northern area of Alicante resulted in five arrests.

Four men and a woman, who range in ages from 27 to 54, now face drug dealing charges.

The police operations centred on identifying properties the suspects used to store and distribute illegal substances. One of the operations focused on two individuals police believe were selling drugs in Castalla as well as the provincial capital.

Raids on properties in both locations led to the seizure of marijuana, hashish, speed, Ketamine and more than 600 ecstasy tablets, as well as a taser and two airsoft gas blowback pistols.

In the second police action officers found cocaine, hashish and an automatic knife, making three arrests.
