A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a car crashed into a pub in Essex on Sunday.
Officers were called to The Spinnaker pub which is located in Colchester at 12.50am
Unfortunately a 36-year-old man died at the scene while three other people were taken to hospital.
One of them, a 34-year-old man, suffered life-changing injuries said police.
The other two, a 34-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and have now been released from hospital.
The man arrested for the killing is a 40 year and was arrested on suspicion of murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and death by dangerous driving.
Essex Police announced in a statement ”We would like to speak to any who saw a white Nissan Qashqai in the local area before the incident took place, and anyone who was in the pub at the time and has yet to speak to officers.”
